Hinoki (檜 | Japanese Cypress) is an ancient cypress wood from central Japan, known for its durability, antimicrobial properties, and citrus scent. Hinoki flakes have a lustrous white appearance and a straight grain, with a lifetime exceeding a thousand years. Traditionally used as a purifying agent in Japanese baths, Hinoki is highly resistant to humidity and contains natural oil that repels water.
