Pop-Up Applications
Are you an artist or maker with work to share? Apply to our 2026 pop-up program!
We are accepting artists, makers, and small brands for both our Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD shops with a large variety of work to share that can make our shop feel transformed for a month or season at a time. We are seeking concepts that align with our core values and vendors already stocked in the shop. All work will be available for sale in store and online.
Our shops are built as a work+shop concept meaning pop-up artists may use the space partially as a studio or work space during the time of their pop-up. Both shops have working mini refrigerators, a work sink, storage, bathrooms, and work tables.
Examples of pop-up concepts: working art galleries, kids toy brands with playdates, plant and flower shop concepts, tea brands with tea tastings, sustainable clothing brands or stylists, yoga or meditation pop-ups and more.
Fees + Commitments: We charge monthly rent due on the first of the month for use of the space that covers utilities, security, insurance, and POS. Pop-up artists get paid for all sales, less a 10% fee covering transactions and sales/admin/marketing time and fees. We also ask for pop-up artists to staff the shop two days a week for the duration of their pop up and host a workshop in the space during this time to engage our community around their work. We offer a discount on rent for consecutive pop-up months.
To apply, please see below. We will review applications on a rolling basis, but please apply for your desired month at least two months in advance. For any questions, please get in touch with us at info@habitualworkshop.com
